Ericha Ramsey Brown joined MKim Legal in May 2015. In February 2017, Ms. Brown was named Partner, and in October 2020, she was named Senior Partner. Ms. Brown also manages the litigation department of MKim Legal. Ms. Brown was born and raised in Arlington, Texas. Ms. Brown graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in three years, with a B.A. in Political Science and History. Ms. Brown obtained her Juris Doctorate degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas, where she earned the Pro Bono Service Award.

Ms. Brown’s practice focuses on general business and complex commercial litigation, contractual disputes, fraud and fiduciary duty claims, landlord/tenant disputes, consumer and deceptive trade practice claims, public and private employment disputes, constitutional employment claims, first party insurance claims, bad faith insurance claims, business formations and business and commercial transactions. Ms. Brown has represented clients as both plaintiff and defendants, and has handled lawsuits and arbitrations throughout the State of Texas, focusing on the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and surrounding areas. Ms. Brown has represented a wide range of clients including individuals, small businesses, commercial property owners, and fortune 500 companies in litigation and/or transactional matters in the prosecution and defense of a diverse array of legal matters.

Ms. Brown is licensed in the State of Texas, and pending licensure in the State of Colorado. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Dallas Bar Association, Tarrant County Bar Association, and the Arlington Bar Association. Ms. Brown is a former President, Vice-President, and Secretary/Treasurer for the Arlington Bar Association, and is also the past President of Arlington Young Lawyers Association, and one of the founding members of Arlington Young Lawyers Association. Ms. Brown is also a former Membership Chair for the Tarrant County Bar Association, a former member of the Eldon B. Mahon Inn of Court, and has served on the planning committee for the Boys and Girls Club of Arlington Party for a Purpose. Ms. Brown has been previously named a Fort Worth, Texas Magazine Top Attorney, and has been selected in 2019 and 2020 as a Texas Super Lawyers Rising Star, an honor recognizing the top 2.5 % of lawyers in the State of Texas.
